The TRUST Project team convened on November 26, 2020 for the second international project meeting. The meeting aimed to align team members on the project objectives, work packages, and action items as well as discuss fintech industry trends.
Ilaria Reggiani, Project Manager and TRUST Coordinator, gave an overview of the project. Delia B. Senoro, PhD, Director and Professor of the Mapua University discussed current capacities of higher educational institutions (HEIs) and the labor market needs of the financial services industry in the Philippines. Pham Xuan Hung, Director of the Office of Research and International Cooperation of the College of Economics, Hue University discussed the capacities of Vietnam HEIs and labor market needs of the financial services industry in Vietnam.
Gaia Roselli Cecconi, Head of Marketing and Innovation, Deus Technology discussed the fintech and banking market trends in Europe. Jove I. Tapiador, Co-Founder and past Chairman of Fintech Philippines Association, on the other hand, discussed Southeast Asian fintechs’ post-pandemic recovery roadmaps.
